Perfect.
Next in the classy dept was Emma Stone. Her dress was very highbrow and she looked wonderful. I think she is a terrific young actress as well. She has a wonderful, big personality. Win, win.
And though I have no idea who this is, she looks smashing! Love this dress.
I was actually shocked at how out of touch I am. Who are all these people?, I kept asking.
Winning in color and overall adorableness was Michele Williams.
I loved that Busy was her date but I didn't like or hate Busy's dress so she doesn't get on here.
Next was this - she looks fantastic.
In the total glitz dept.:
This was Hollywood glamour at it's best. Not too many people could pull this off but Milla owned it. Terrific.
Octavia looked beautiful. Great dress choice for her.
Pretty dress. Not a fan of her look. Eat a hamburger and fries on the way home sweetie.
There was a lot of white. These were the three most striking in my opinion other than the two up top in overall winners.
Next up are the folks that would look good in a paper sack. Nothing to write home about dress wise but the package never disappoints. I mean it is hard to be more attractive than a Penelope or an Angie. Loved Penelope's hairdo! She wins for that.
And Angie is just a stone cold fox and she knows it. Bad ass. Hello, Mrs. Pitt! You know everyone was drooling.
All the commentators were oooing and ahhing over the dress of George's flavor of the year but while she is a lovely young woman - the dress is just eh. It was pretty cliche just how trophy girlfriend she appeared given the occassion. Marchesa is not my cup of tea.
As evidenced also by Sandy's dress. Not a fan.
And if we give awards for looking like an Oscar, I pick Meryl over what's her name anyway just because I love her and she is actually famous for a real reason. Still, if this dress had just been taken in a little, I think it would have been stunning on her. It was kind of baggy and saggy and I know she doesn't give a damn.
As for Natalie, she looked like a highschool girl with good taste and really rich parents heading to the prom in millions of dollars worth of diamonds. Definite disconnect here. A headband with a satin bow would have gone better with this dress than that necklace and that is just to drive home the point that they do not go together at all. Really weird. She needs a new stylist stat. Hair up, lose that necklace for something a little more bohemian and longer and it might have worked. Maybe. I like the dress. It had potential. I think. Lovely woman. It pains me to criticize.
Winning in the best earring category:
But I love emeralds so I might be biased. Pretty, pretty and good hairdo as well.
General eye candy award goes to:
And,
Until next year. . .
